Darrah Sanctuary: – The land of Maharaja has made a special way to look for the best species along the south-east border of Kota. After visiting the place, you will definitely conclude how worth it is best to see the place. The overall area of the place is about 250 sq.km and almost 50 km from Kota.

Animals in the Sanctuary

There are many animals present in the sanctuary and some of them are listed below:

  • Sloth Bear
  • Chinkara
  • Leopard
  • Spotted Deers
  • Panthers
  • Antelopes
  • Sambhars
  • Wild Boars

Best Time to Visit: –  One can enjoy the wildlife from the month of February to May. But, due to some circumstances, the sanctuary is closed during early July to mid-September.

Requirements needed for the visit: –  If you need to visit the sanctuary, seek permission from local forest ranger or contact forest officer in Kota. According to payment terms, visitors need to pay an entry fee and make a happy visit.

Bhensrod Garh Sanctuary : – The Garh sanctuary is in the Chittorgarh District (Rajasthan). The sanctuary covers an area of 230 acres, and it is present at 55km west of Kota. If you are lucky, enough you can spot sloth bear. To enjoy more, visit the place between October to May.
